Motorcycle and Two Cars Collide on 710 Freeway in Bell Gardens Killing the Rider

 
BELL GARDENS, CA (November 24, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on 710 Freeway in Bell Gardens late Thursday afternoon on November 21.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:20 p.m. under the Clara Street overcrossing, just between the Florence Avenue and Firestone Boulevard off-ramps. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Toyota Corolla, a 2020 Infiniti QX60 and a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided along the southbound lanes of the freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist trapped underneath a vehicle with significant injuries.
 
Despite life-saving measures, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
Details of what led to the crash remained unclear at this time. An investigation is underway.
