1 Dead in Motorcycle, Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway in Miramar

 
MIRAMAR, CA (January 6, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Miramar Way.
 
According to reports, the deadly crash happened around 3:32 a.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a car rear-ended another vehicle on the northbound freeway just south of Miramar Way. The impact sent one car onto the shoulder and left a black car with its lights off and disabled in one of the traffic lanes. Subsequently, an oncoming motorcyclist collided with the stalled vehicle.
 
The motorcyclist passed away in the accident. Officials did not release his or her name.
 
A person in a white car involved in the crash suffered unknown injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the black car refused to cooperate with a field sobriety test. Due to this, officers took the individual into custody on suspicion of DUI.
