HEMET, CA (September 27, 2024) — A mother and her child were injured in Thursday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Yale Street and Salt Circle.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run happened around 7:45 a.m. near Ramona Elementary School. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a 39-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son.
