Michael Miller Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 near Vermont Avenue

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 6, 2024) — Michael Miller died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 near Vermont Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, 50-year-old Miller, whose resident was unknown, passed away in the Wednesday accident. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck him as he attempted to cross the Hollywood Freeway in the northbound lanes.
 
Subsequently, CHP officers arrived around 2:28 a.m. to find a body on the road. Miller passed away at the scene as determined by Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel.
 
Due to the investigation, California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert to close the northbound lanes for several hours.
