Car Fatally Strikes Two Pedestrians on South Anaheim Boulevard

 
ANAHEIM, CA (May 14, 2023) – A man and a woman were killed in a pedestrian accident on South Anaheim Boulevard in Anaheim Friday evening on May 12.
 
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the two victims were attempting to cross the street in the block of South Anaheim Boulevard outside of a crosswalk when a car struck them around 8:30 p.m.
 
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she also succumbed to her injuries.
 
The driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the crash, which is still under investigation.
