Motorcycle Rider and Passenger Die after Crash with Car on Highway 70 in Marysville

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (September 25, 2024) – A man and a woman were killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 70 in Marysville late Monday evening on September 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:30 p.m. near Nobel Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old man in a Toyota Corolla was leaving a driveway along Highway 70 and turned to go south when he pulled into the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
 
The motorcycle then crashed into the left rear door of the Corolla.
 
Both the 62-year-old male rider and his 63-year-old female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene and both were residents of Marysville.
 
Neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
