Pedestrian Suffers Critical Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Pico Boulevard
PICO UNION, CA (March 19, 2024) – A man was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash on Pico Boulevard in the Pico-Union neighborhood Monday on March 18.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 21-year-old male pedestrian was crossing Pico Boulevard from its south curb, heading east of Elden Avenue.
Moments later, a white Dodge Charger with dark-tinted windows struck the man and fled the scene.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and rushed the man to a hospital, where he is recovering from critical injuries to his skull.
The city is offering the public a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect.
