Man Suffers Brain Bleed after Crash on Fairmount Avenue in Kensington Neighborhood
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 25, 2024) – A 53-year-old man was seriously injured in a car accident on Fairmount Avenue in the Kensington neighborhood of San Diego late Friday evening.
The accident happened around 11:23 p.m. on August 23 in the 4800 block of Fairmount Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was driving south when he lost control of his 2008 Lincoln Town Car for unknown reasons. He then struck the embankment on the west side of the road.
A 24-year-old woman driving her 2005 Acura behind the victim was unable to avoid the Lincoln Town Car and struck the side of the vehicle.
As a result, the man suffered a brain bleed. First responders rushed him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
