Man Killed in Traffic Accident at 30th Street West and Avenue G [Lancaster, CA]

Pickup Truck Crashes into Semi Trailer on 30th Street West in Lancaster Killing the Driver

 
LANCASTER, CA (August 29, 2024) – A man was killed in a traffic accident at 30th Street West and Avenue G late Monday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on August 26. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving a pickup truck east on Avenue G when he crashed into the rear of a semi trailer that was heading north on 30th Street.
 
As a result of the crash, the driver of the pickup suffered major trauma. First responders tried saving him, but he died at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
 
It was unclear if there were other injuries sustained in the crash. It was also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
