Man Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Patterson Road in Stanislaus County

 
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (September 13, 2023) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Patterson Road near Kaufman Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:55 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a 43-year-old man from Modesto struck a 20-year-old man walking westbound on Patterson Road.
 
As a result of the accident, the male pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The 2011 Ford driver, however, reported no injuries.
 
At this time, traffic investigators do not know if alcohol or drugs factored into the crash. However, an investigation into the nebulous details should reveal more.
