Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident at Ascot Parkway and Sterling Street [Vallejo, CA]

Multi-Vehicle Crash on Ascot Parkway in Vallejo Kills 1 Passenger

 
VALLEJO, CA (November 28, 2024) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle accident at Ascot Parkway and Sterling Street in Vallejo on Monday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:46 p.m. on November 25. According to the Vallejo Police Department, a 2004 gray Toyota Solara was heading north on Ascot Parkway when it crossed the center median and collided with a 2009 white Chevrolet Traverse that was heading south on Ascot.
 
The impact pushed the Traverse into a 1992 blue Nissan Sentra which was also traveling southbound on Ascot.
 
A male passenger in the Toyota was rushed to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Solano County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office withheld his identity at this time.
 
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two occupants of the Traverse, the driver and a juvenile passenger, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The three occupants of the Sentra declined medical treatment and were released from the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
