Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on 11th Street in Tracy

 
TRACY, CA (March 2, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 11th Street near El Portal Street.
 
According to Tracy police officers, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 6:53 p.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a man was hit by a 2012 Hyundai Sonata between El Portal Street and Holly Drive. Arriving First Responders found the victim and administered life-saving measures, which yielded futile results; the unidentified pedestrian passed away at the scene.
 
The driver of the Hyundai reportedly left the scene and has yet to be found. Police now have the vehicle impounded for evidence processing.
