Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on South White Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 3, 2025) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on South White Road in San Jose early Sunday morning on March 2.
 
According to the San Jose Police Department, the male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 2:20 a.m. in the 1700 block of South White Road.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle took off without stopping.
 
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from major injuries. They attempted life-saving efforts, but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run driver remains at large.
 
Police are still investigating the fatality and on the lookout for the suspect.
