HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 10, 2024) – A 48-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Franklin Avenue in Hollywood Thursday evening on November 7.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m. just east of Van Ness Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was walking northbound at a marked crosswalk when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused the victim to crash with the roadway.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
 
Paramedics arrived and rushed the man to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
