Four-Vehicle Accident on Highway 4 in Pittsburg Kills One Driver
PITTSBURG, CA (December 3, 2024) – A man was killed in a four-vehicle accident on Highway 4 in Pittsburg Friday morning on November 29.
The fatal accident happened around 5:10 a.m. near the Railroad Avenue off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a white Hyundai sedan, a blue Toyota Camry, a silver Toyota Camry and a blue Dodge Ram.
One of the vehicles was disabled in the middle lane when another vehicle collided into it. The impact caused a chain-reaction crash.
Each of the vehicles had adult male drivers with no passengers.
The man driving the Hyundai was not wearing a seat belt during the crash. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The drivers of the Camrys both had minor injuries, while the driver of the Dodge was unharmed.
