Dirt Bike Rider Succumbs to Injuries 10 Days after Struck by Car on Bundy Canyon Road in Menifee

 
MENIFEE, CA (December 1, 2022) – A man died 10 days after a dirt bike accident on Bundy Canyon Road in Menifee.
 
Around 6:00 p.m. on November 19, the man was riding his dirt bike eastbound on Bundy Canyon Road. He was slowing to make a turn onto Sunset Avenue when a Chevrolet Volt approached him from behind.
 
As the dirt bike began to slow, it was rear-ended by the Chevrolet, causing the rider to be ejected from his motorcycle.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the rider to a trauma center in critical condition.
 
Despite being under intensive care for more than a week, the victim succumbed to his injuries. He was not yet identified.
 
The Chevrolet driver was not arrested.
 
The Menifee Police Department is still investigating this fatal accident.
