RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (January 3, 2025) — A man died in a bicycle accident near Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived at the scene around 10:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Upon dispatch, officers located a man on the ground. Authorities began life-saving efforts on the victim until paramedics took over. However, the victim passed away moments later.
 
The driver stopped and cooperated with police investigators. However, authorities did not say what led to the accident.
