Man Dies in Long Beach Hit-and-Run Accident near Pacific Coast Highway

 
LONG BEACH, CA (June 25, 2024) — A man died after a hit-and-run driver intentionally hit him near Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Fe Avenue.
 
According to Long Beach Police, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, the victim and another individual became involved in a dispute. Subsequently, the argument escalated, and the suspect struck the victim, described as a 59-year-old man.
 
Soon after, Long Beach Police arrived at the scene but found no sign of the driver. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital where he passed away from his injuries. Authorities did not release his name.
