Man Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident at Arlington Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 14, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident at Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard on Saturday morning.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the deadly incident happened around 10:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, the unidentified pedestrian walked into the street from the east curb. Subsequently, a northbound 2008 Nissan Altima struck him on Van Buren Boulevard.
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and ushered him to Riverside Community Hospital where he died.
As for the 52-year-old driver from Riverside, he or she stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
