1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Carson Street in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (June 22, 2024) — A man died in a June 4 motorcycle accident on Carson Street and Ostrom Avenue.
 
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 6:10 p.m. An unidentified man riding a westbound 2022 Yamaha motorcycle behind another vehicle decided to change lanes. However, the Yamaha crashed into a 2007 Ford Edge turning left onto Carson Street.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered critical injuries, and detectives were informed that he passed away on July 12. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to release his name.
 
Authorities have not confirmed if drugs or alcohol factored into the cause.
