Police Arrest Driver for DUI after Accident on Petrol Road near Amazon Distribution Center

 
OILDALE, CA (June 28, 2021) – A man was arrested in a possible DUI accident on Petrol Road in Oildale early Monday morning, June 21.
 
The accident happened just after 2:00 a.m. outside of the Amazon Distribution Center. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car crashed into a parked semi truck. Both the truck and the car caught fire and became engulfed in flames.
 
Firefighters responded and put the fire out. It was unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.
 
Police officers determined that the driver was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. They arrested him for DUI.
 
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
