Man Airlifted after Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 99 [Tulare County, CA]

1 Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 384 in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, CA (January 30, 2025) – A man sustained injuries in a semi-truck accident on Highway 99, Friday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on January 24, at about 8:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Honda Accord struck the rear of a semi-truck near Avenue 384.

A man in his 30’s had to be flown to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.

No other injuries were reported.

The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
