Lynnette Aguilar Struck Dead by Vehicle on Bellflower Boulevard near Centralia Street
LONG BEACH, CA (November 22, 2024) — Lynnette Aguilar died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday on Bellflower Boulevard near Centralia Street.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 6:35 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a 65-year-old Lakewood resident driving a northbound 2014 Jeep Patriot struck 52-year-old Aguilar outside of a marked crosswalk. Authorities learned that she was attempting to cross the road.
Soon after, Long Beach Police officers arrived to investigate the crash but did not believe that speed, distracted driving or DUI played a part in the accident.
Aguilar, of Long Beach, died at the scene and the driver stayed for the investigation.
