Loren Carroll Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on 91 Freeway [Bellflower, CA]

25-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver while Changing Tires on 91 Freeway in Bellflower

 
BELLFLOWER, CA (October 22, 2024) – Loren Carroll was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bellflower late Sunday evening on October 20.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:00 p.m. on 91 Freeway at Downey Avenue. According the California Highway Patrol, Carroll was changing a tire facing the freeway when a vehicle struck her.
 
Carroll suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 25 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
 
A description of the vehicle that struck her was not immediately available.
 
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run crash to call the CHP.
