Juvenile Driver Dies after Colliding Head-On into Big Rig on Highway 33 near Three Rocks

 
THREE ROCKS, CA (February 24, 2025) – A juvenile driver was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 33 just north of Three Rocks Sunday afternoon on February 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:40 p.m. near West Conejo Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male juvenile was driving a 2021 Tesla northbound on Highway 33 when he allowed the car to veer to the left. He then collided head-on into a 2019 Freightliner.
 
The impact of the crash ejected the juvenile driver from the Tesla. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old driver of the big rig was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
