Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Two Cars in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (December 22, 2024) – Justin Keith-Louis Ketteringham was killed in a motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach Thursday evening on December 19.
The fatal accident happened around 7:24 p.m. on Springdale Street, just south of Warner Avenue. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, Ketteringham was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Springdale.
At the same time, a Lexus GX460 was traveling northbound on Springdale and began turning left into a business complex at the southwest corner of Warner and Springdale.
The Lexis struck the motorcycle, causing Ketteringham to lose control and collided with a Lexus CT200h, which was heading eastbound to exit the driveway on Springdale.
Ketteringham suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. He was a 28-year-old Huntington Beach resident, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s-Coroner’s Department.
The driver of a Lexus GX460, a 62-year-old Huntington Beach man and the driver of a Lexus CT200h, a 25-year-old Huntington Beach woman, stayed on the scene. Both were unharmed.
Police arrested the driver of the Lexus CT200h for DUI.
