Joshua Hathaway Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on 3rd Street near Lucas Avenue

 
WESTLAKE, CA (February 12, 2025) — Joshua Hathaway died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 3rd Street near Lucas Avenue.
 
According to Los Angeles Police officers, the fatal hit-and-run happened on January 12 around 12:50 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a white Honda Accord struck 41-year-old Joshua David Hathaway on 3rd Street. Subsequently, the driver fled the scene without helping Hathaway.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded and transported Hathaway to a hospital where he passed away. Now authorities need witnesses’ help identifying the driver. The city of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for any information leading to the driver’s conviction.
