Vehicle Fatally Strikes 39-Year-Old Pedestrian in Loma Linda

 
LOMA LINDA, CA (September 25, 2024) – Johnson Ngo was hit and killed by a vehicle in Loma Linda Friday morning on September 20.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Barton Road, just west of Campus Street. According to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, Ngo was struck by a vehicle while he was walking on the roadway. The impact caused him severe injuries.
 
Ngo was then rushed by paramedics to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was declared dead at 5:50 a.m. He was a 39-year-old Redlands resident.
 
There were details about the involved vehicle and driver at this time.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
