46-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (September 28, 2024) – Johnny Gonzales was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fontana Tuesday morning on September 24.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:37 a.m. at 13901 San Bernardino Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Gonzales was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Gonzales suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 46 years old of Fontana.
 
The identity of the involved driver was not immediately available. It was also unknown if they stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the circumstances of the fatality.
