PITTSBURG, CA (November 27, 2024) — Joaquin Revuelta died hours after a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Willow Pass Road near Range Road.
 
According to reports, the fatal hit-and-run unfolded around 9:15 p.m. Friday. Authorities learned that 50-year-old Joaquin Revuelta was on his way home from Sovereign Shepherd Church when he somehow slipped and fell off his bike. Subsequently, an oncoming vehicle struck him but did not stop.
 
Because the entire crash was captured on surveillance video, police had a head start on the investigation.
 
The father of two grown sons passed away hours later at a hospital. Now the family’s mourning will bleed into the holidays as they face Thanksgiving and Christmas without their loved one.
