Joan McKee Dead, Adrian Antonio Arrested in DUI Crash on 91 Freeway near Main Street
CORONA, CA (April 19, 2021) — Joan McKee died in a DUI accident on the 91 freeway near Main Street Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the DUI crash involved six vehicles. Per Sgt. Dean Corey, 41-year-old Adrian Antonio was traveling about 90 mph on the eastbound 91 Freeway. Minutes later, his Ford Windstar van slammed into the rear of a Chrysler Voyager, causing a chain reaction collision.
As a result of the accident, 71-year-old McKee — the operator of the Voyager — died and a man riding in the Voyager sustained serious injuries. As for Antonio, of Fontana, and one other person, they suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
At this time, police have arrested Antonio for DUI. Although, if anyone can help authorities with this accident, please contact the police.
