STOCKTON, CA (November 25, 2024) — Jesse McCray died in a pedestrian accident near Airport Way and Sperry Road.
 
Stockton Police officers responded to the scene of the crash Friday night. Upon dispatch, authorities found 63-year-old McCray, an unhoused individual living in the Stockton area. A driver struck him under unknown circumstances, and as a result, he suffered fatal injuries.
 
After the accident, the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him. Traffic officers did not speak about the driver or the circumstances of the crash. However, they are looking into the details.
