Jesmund Stanley Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Kansas Avenue [Riverside, CA]

35-Year-Old Unsheltered Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 28, 2024) – Jesmund Stanley was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Riverside late Saturday evening on May 25.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:20 p.m. at the intersection of Kansas Avenue and Roberta Street. According to the Riverside Police Department, Stanley was in the intersection when she was truck by a vehicle that was heading south on Kansas Avenue.
 
After the crash, the driver took off without stopping.
 
Stanley suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 35 years old, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
According to authorities, Stanley was unsheltered in the Riverside area was arrested in April of this year for violating her parole.
