Gerardo Aldama Involved in San Luis Obispo Car Crash, Jerome Perry Identified
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (January 7, 2022) — The California Highway Patrol identified the man who died in a New Year’s Eve crash on Highway 1 as 62-year-old Jerome A. Perry of San Luis Obispo.
The crash occurred at 7:22 p.m. at the San Luisito Creek Road cross between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, the CHP said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Perry was traveling southbound in his Chevrolet pickup truck when he turned left across the highway in front 38-year-old Gerardo Aldama of Santa Maria, who was driving northbound in a Hyundai Sonata.

However, Aldama was not injured.
