Jeffrey Ross Hospitalized, Passenger Killed in Fiery Accident with Pole on Colusa Avenue near Rocca Way

YUBA CITY, CA (March 1, 2024) — Jeffrey Ross suffered significant injuries in a fatal fiery car crash on Colusa Avenue near Rocca Way.

According to the Yuba City Police Department, the deadly single-car crash happened around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. For possible speed-related reasons, Jeffrey Ross lost control of his eastbound Toyota RAV4 on Colusa Highway. Subsequently, the Toyota crashed into a light pole near Rocca Way, causing the car to rupture in flames.

Shortly after, officers and paramedics arrived to find the car on fire on the southeast side of the intersection. Upon extinguishing the blaze, authorities uncovered a deceased female passenger and Ross with significant injuries.
