Jasmine Gomez Killed in Rollover Accident on 215 Freeway [Murrieta, CA]

42-Year-Old Woman Dies in Murrieta Rollover Crash Involving Two Other Vehicles

 
MURRIETA, CA (October 11, 2024) – Jasmine Gomez was killed in a rollover accident in Murrieta Thursday on October 10.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly before noon on southbound 215 Freeway, just north of Linnel Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, Gomez was driving a sedan when she collided with a pickup truck and another vehicle.
 
The impact caused Gomez’ car to veer out of control and overturn in the fast lane.
 
Gomez suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 42-year-old Hemet resident.
 
The parties in the other vehicles were assessed by paramedics but apparently did not require hospitalization.
 
Crews partially closed the southbound lanes of the freeway until 5:00 p.m. while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone with information was asked to contact the Temecula CHP office at 951-466-4300.
