Jamie Koz Charged with DUI, Striking Several People on Maltman Avenue near Marcia Drive

 
SILVER LAKE, CA (January 16, 2023) — Jamie Koz faces DUI charges after hitting several people on Maltman Avenue near Marcia Drive Friday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the incident happened around 11:30 p.m.
 
In the 1300 block of Maltman Avenue, a Tesla driver crashed into several parked cars on Silver Lake Boulevard. Subsequently, he crashed into a vehicle parked in a driveway of a home pushing it into the garage of the house. From there, the driver, identified as Koz, exited the vehicle yet experienced an encounter with several witnesses before going back inside the car.
 
Koz then reversed out of the driveway with the door open, striking two people and hitting a car while driving on the road. Soon after, officers arrived and arrested him after he tried to leave on foot.
 
In the event, two people reported injuries and required hospital care. Others complained of pain at the scene.
