Authorities Identify Motorcyclist Killed in San Ysidro Crash on 805 Freeway
SAN YSIDRO, CA (February 24, 2021) – Authorities identified the motorcyclist who died in an accident earlier this month in San Ysidro.
The fatal accident happened around 5:49 p.m., February 7 on 805 Freeway north of San Ysidro Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Jaime Ulloa of Bonita was riding his motorcycle northbound on 805 Freeway when he slammed into the back of a truck.
As a result, Ulloa suffered significant injuries. First responders rushed him to a hospital, where he later died around 8:06 p.m.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. Further investigation is underway.
