Vehicle Fatally Strikes Homeless Man on Sherman Way in Lake Balboa Area
LAKE BALBOA, CA (July 23, 2024) – A homeless man was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sherman Way in the Lake Balboa area of Los Angeles early Monday morning on July 22.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man was walking in the roadway when a vehicle struck him at 17231 Sherman Way around 2:20 a.m.
Paramedics immediately responded and took the man to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities only described the victim as someone who was 30 years old.
At this time, there was no indication of any arrests. Further investigation is underway.
