Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan on Highway 46 in Lost Hills
LOST HILLS, CA (February 19, 2025) – German Garcia died in a motorcycle accident in Lost Hills Sunday night on February 16.
The fatal accident happened around 6:04 p.m. on Highway 46 at Martin Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Garcia was riding his 1994 Honda off-road motorcycle eastbound on the highway. At the same time, a 31-year-old man from Lost Hills was driving a 2002 Honda Civic westbound on the highway.
The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it broadsided the Civic that was making a left turn onto Martin Avenue.
As a result of the crash, Garcia suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 28 years old of Los Hills, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Civic sustained minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. An investigation is underway.
