Car Crashes on Highway 1 in Davenport Sends 5 People to Hospital

 
DAVENPORT, CA (June 5, 2024) – Five people were injured in a car accident on Highway 1 in Davenport Tuesday morning on June 4.
 
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. at Cement Plant Road. According to CalFire, a vehicle was traveling on the highway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
The impact of the crash injured five people. Two of the patients suffered critical injuries and one of them was airlifted to a hospital. The three others had unspecified injuries.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
