NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (December 18, 2024) — A DUI suspect crashed into several cars during a police chase near Vineland Avenue and Lankershim Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tried pulling over a drunk driver who struck four cars near La Canada Flintridge. However, the driver refused to stop and struck several more cars and nearly struck several pedestrians.
 
The chase poured onto North Hollywood surface streets, where the car sideswiped an innocent driver. After running red traffic lights, another driver struck the driver’s side of the fleeing vehicle, partially disabling the car.
 
The car finally came to a stop on Vineland Avenue, and an hour-long standoff unfolded before police arrested the suspect on felony charges.
