No Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 14 Freeway in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (September 6, 2024) — Drivers dodged injury following Wednesday’s multi-car accident on the 14 Freeway at the 5 Freeway connector.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Newhall Area Office, the multi-car crash happened around 8:30 a.m. For an unknown reason, three vehicles, including a semi-truck, crashed on the southbound 14 Freeway lanes. Subsequently, CHP officers responded to the scene and issued a SigAlert at 9:13 a.m. for 8 hours to attend to the accident.
 
Authorities have not said what led to the crash, including if impairment, speeding or distracted driving factored into the cause. Fortunately, no one reported any injuries in the accident.
