Driver Hurt in Rollover Crash With Big Rig on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (May 11, 2022) — A driver suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident with a big rig on the 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 12:10 a.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, a red Ford Explorer SUV and a big rig crashed. As a result of the impact, the Ford overturned several times and landed on its tires, sustaining major rear-end damage.
 
Shortly after, California Highway Patrol, CAL Fire and firefighters arrived at the scene. Upon dispatching, San Bernardino County Fire Department began extricating the driver from the Ford and airlifted the patient to Antelope Valley Medical Center
 
Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver pulled over, unharmed, and stayed for the investigation.
