Driver Hurt in DUI Single-Car Crash on Highway 41 in Kings County
KINGS COUNTY, CA (June 1, 2023) — A driver was injured in a DUI solo-car crash on Highway 41 near Utica Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 12:45 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a 26-year-old man heading eastbound made an unsafe right turn. As a result, the vehicle drifted onto the dirt shoulder and crashed. Upon impact, the driver was ejected from the car and suffered major injuries.
Moments later, emergency crews arrived at the scene and brought the victim to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
