Driver Leaves After Vehicle Crashes Into House, Causing Fire near Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana

 
TARZANA, CA (July 23, 2024) — A driver fled the scene after a car crashed into a home, causing a fire, near Reseda Boulevard and Rosita Street.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call around 12:32 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a house on fire after a car reportedly crashed into the house. However, the driver left the scene, along with his or her passenger.
 
Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel extinguished the blaze but did not say what damage the home sustained.
 
Fortunately, no one occupied the house at the time of the accident.
 
Sometime later, police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. Authorities have no other information on the suspect involved.
