Driver Injured After Crashing Into Big Rig on Harbor Drive in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 26, 2024) — A driver suffered an injury after falling asleep and crashing into a semi-truck on Harbor Drive near McCain Road.
According to the authorities, the two-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. After falling asleep at the wheel, a driver crashed his vehicle into the back of a semi-flatbed trailer near the San Diego International Airport.
The eastbound vehicle wedged itself underneath the semi-truck, and arriving San Diego Firefighters responded to extricate the individual before taking the victim to a hospital.
