Donald Henderson Among 2 Detained in Police Pursuit Crash near Peach Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue
CLOVIS, CA (September 9, 2024) —Donald Henderson faces charges following Wednesday’s police chase accident near Peach Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.
According to Clovis Police officers, the chase happened around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. While responding to reports of a parolee in possession of a firearm in a passenger vehicle, officers arrived to try and pull the driver over. However, the driver did not comply and took off.
The chase ended at Peach Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue when the suspect vehicle crashed. Reports did not confirm if any injuries were reported in the accident.
Subsequently, 34-year-old Henderson, whom officers were initially in pursuit of, threw the weapon from the car before he and the driver took off on foot. Not long after, the police and a K-9 unit found Henderson and took him into custody. Police also tracked down the driver and arrested him sometime after.
