Diego Ramirez Dead, Joshua Goreham Involved in Head-On Crash on Bear Mountain Boulevard near Highway 99

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 16, 2023) — Diego Ramirez died in a head-on accident with a semi-truck on Bear Mountain Boulevard near Highway 99.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 5:35 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, 27-year-old Diego Armando Ramirez allowed his westbound Mazda to veer into oncoming traffic and strike a Peterbilt truck, driven by 31-year-old Joshua Goreham.
 
As a result of the crash, Ramirez died from his injuries. According to an investigation, Goreham of Kingman, Ariz., tried to avoid Ramirez but ended up hitting him anyway.
