59-Year-Old Man Dies after Hit by Trash Truck on 215 Freeway at University Parkway

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 12, 2022) – Daniel Deleon was killed in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino Wednesday morning on November 9.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:52 a.m. at the intersection with University Parkway. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Deleon was walking at the intersection when a trash truck hit him.
 
The impact caused the victim significant injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 59-year-old San Bernardino resident.
 
At this time, the CHP is still investigating whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatality.
